Blaster by WILL Interactive
Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team Leadership and Company Command
Creation Date: 2007
Contract Client: U.S. Army—Combined Arms Support Command
Description
Blaster was created for the Army Combined Arms Support Command at Fort Lee to prepare Explosive Ordnance Disposal Company Commanders and Team Leaders to operate more effectively in deployed situations, improve job performance in their first months of deployment, and to instill leadership and soft skills that are specific and critical to the EOD mission.
In Blaster, you play as three EOD soldiers, SSG William 'Canuck' Knight, SSG Matt 'Hollywood' Zokowski and CPT Bill McKenna. You face the challenges that they face, and you make the decisions that have short- and long-term consequences.
Blaster also includes a unique EOD X-Ray exercise which allows users to practice setting distance and pulse rates for suspicious objects as well as tests a user's ability to identify various objects through an X-Ray interpretation test.
