Description

Whether we like it or not, we live in a drug culture. From young adolescence to adulthood, our children are prominently exposed to drugs from an early age. As educators, parents and community leaders, it's up to us to take an active role with our students. We need to communicate through relevant forums the impact and long-term effects of poor decision making. Most importantly, we need to present healthy alternatives for a better life.

The pressures of growing up, school, friends, family and romantic interests can cloud any young adult's mind. How they deal with these pressures is completely up to them. In Generation Rx, each student has the opportunity to become three diverse, teenage characters.

Leslie
A model student that wants to stay focused on her own goals: high-paying job in a big city and a perfect family.

Roy
He hasn't attended school much since the tenth grade, school never meant a lot to him but at 17 he's faced with some tough decisions.

Ryan
His life has been perfect until very recently where his promising basketball career to a new basketball season that isn't working out the way he wanted.

In Generation Rx, your students' choices have the power to win them respect, knowledge, satisfaction and the foundation for a good life. They also have the power to lose...almost everything. But the ending isn't written yet. What happens next is up to them.
